Our Personal Support Workers (PSWs) provide respectful companionship both at home and in the community, offering encouragement, meaningful conversation, and support that helps enrich daily life.
How We Provide Companionship
Our companionship care is flexible and tailored to each person’s interests, comfort level, and routine. We can support with:
- Friendly conversation and social connection
- Sharing meals or preparing meals together
- Weekly shopping assistance
- Participating in hobbies and favourite activities
- Light household tasks (cleaning, laundry, tidying)
- Help organizing travel or errands
- Transportation to appointments, social events, and outings
- Planning visits with family or friends
- Gentle encouragement to stay active and engaged
Our Personal Support Workers (PSWs)
Our team is composed of skilled, compassionate professionals who are committed to building trust and fostering meaningful relationships with the clients they support.
Our PSWs bring:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting seniors in both social and practical aspects of daily life
- Ability to encourage participation in hobbies, routines, and meaningful activities
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- A completed Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Extensive interview and reference verification
- Post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent training)
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
