Personal Support Workers (PSWs)

Solus Support Services is seeking experienced, compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to support seniors and individuals with complex care needs in their homes across Ontario.

Our PSWs play a vital role in helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and dignity while receiving personalized care in the place they feel most comfortable — their home.

If You Are an Experienced, Dedicated and Skilled Individual

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification or equivalent experience
  • Have experience supporting seniors or individuals with complex care needs
  • Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism
  • Are able to work independently in a home care environment
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Has experience in following life skills and community support plans
  • Willing to commit to our ongoing educational requirements
  • Vulnerable Police Sector Screening
  • Driver’s License preferred

Experience supporting individuals with dementia, stroke recovery, palliative care, or complex health needs is considered an asset.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing)
  • Mobility support and safe transfers
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Supporting clients with daily routines and activities
  • Communicating with families and coordinators regarding care needs
