Our home care services give you the flexibility to live independently in your own home. Solus Support Services provides high-quality support for individuals experiencing psychosocial and behavioural challenges, helping you stay as independent as possible in your home and community.
Our program is personalized to your needs—whether you require daily visits for a few hours or up to 24-hour support—so you stay in control of the care you receive, where and when you need it.
Our home care services are tailored to help you stay in your own home and continue living life your way. From appointments and errands to social visits, we support your independence while giving you and your family the peace of mind to stay in your home.
Home care covers a variety of services, ranging from companionship visits to complex care for behaviour that might otherwise prevent continued community-based living.
Our home care services are completely personalised to each individual.
Our dedicated team of Home Care Assistants ( Personal Support Workers) are trained to support you with:
- Morning routines: getting up, washing, dressing, and starting the day with a good breakfast
- Medication support: reminders, assistance, and pharmacy pick-ups or returns
- Mealtime assistance: preparing meals with or for you, and helping during meals
- Outings: shopping together or creating a list, running errands, and putting groceries away
- Household tasks: laundry, ironing, and keeping your home clean and tidy
- Social activities: walks, day programs, visiting family or friends, or attending church or community clubs
- Personal care: a little extra pampering when needed
- Evening routines: support winding down and getting ready for bed
Residential Support
If the time comes that you or your loved one decides to live in a residential program or long term care environment we are here to provide continuity of care and supplementary staffing supports to ensure that they receive the care and support they deserve.

Our Personal Support Workers are experienced and committed professionals:
- Skills to implement behavioural programming
- Skills to implement life skills and social skills programming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Undergone an extensive interview and reference check process
- Have passed a criminal reference (Vulnerable Sector Screening) check
- Hold First Aid and CPR Certification
- Completed post-secondary education
- Minimum 2 Years of related experience
